Bore Condition: The bore is shiny with crisp rifling and some minor streaking.
Description:

Receiver manufactured in early 1944, from the fourth production block (serial number range 4,632,100 to 4,879,525) manufactured by Quality Hardware & Manufacturing Co. from March to May 1944. Inland supplied "2-44" dated barrel, "UI" type I barrel band, "GE-Q" rear sight base, "Q-RMC" stamped in the sling channel, "ordnance wheel" stamped on the right of the butt, and an "A A O" rebuild stamp on the left of the wrist. Magazine Absent.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as arsenal refurbished and subsequently returned to World War II configuration retaining most of the finishes with some minor edge wear, dried arsenal grease, plum coloration on the bolt and sling swivel, some minor cycling wear, a few small patches of brown patina, and minor handling marks. The stock is fine as arsenal sanded and re-oiled with scattered minor compression marks and scratches, a hairline crack in the wrist, along with clear stamps. Mechanically excellent.
