Manufactured between 1955 and 1956, with this example being one of a mere 200 chambered in .45 Colt Per page 194 of "Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson: 4th Edition". This example displays matching serial numbers on the butt, cylinder, and barrel. It is fitted with a Patridge blade front and fully adjustable rear sight, and checkered S&W medallion grips. Includes a RD Makers basket weave tooled leather holster.

Very fine overall with original finish, handling marks, mild handling wear, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Holster is excellent.
