Receiver manufactured in 1876-1891, fitted with a contemporary barrel marked "40-65/BLACKPOWDER" and Vernier tang sight. Empty rear sight dovetail. Ramrod absent.

Very good overall with the barrel retaining most of the original finish, remaining surfaces retains some silvered out original case colors, wood with minor-moderate wear. Mechanically functions.
