Bore Condition: The bore is shiny with signs of use.
Description:

Manufactured in 1941. Fitted with a Crowe safety. 2 3/4" marked chamber, choke marked full, LOP 14 1/4" (Pachmayr recoil pad). Includes 29 competition patches from the late 1940s-early 1950s. Per the consignor these patches belonged to Ralph W. Smith, who was the corporate pilot for Cox Communications until he retired. Ralph "Smitty" Smith lived in Dayton, OH and flew out of Vandalia, home of the ATA at the time. Earlier in his career, Smitty was the expedition pilot for Admiral Byrd's second Arctic Expedition in '46 and '47.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as upgraded, retaining most of the finish, some scattered minor handling wear. Mechanically excellent.
