Bore Condition: The bore is darkened with frosting.
Description:

Manufactured in the early 19th century. According to Flayderman's approximately 4,126 muskets were delivered out of the 9000 gun contract. Lock marked "W.N &S/PHILA" and "Eagle/US". Faint eagle head and P proof on the barrel. Barrel has been bored out.

Rating Definition:

Poor overall as converted to shotgun, dark brown patina, and oxidation/pitting. Stock has been cut down with scattered cracks, chips and dings. Mechanically needs work, percussion nipple absent and does not hold cock.
