Bore Condition: The bore is slightly dark with pitting and defined rifling.
Description:

The included factory letter confirms the configuration when the revolver was shipped on January 9th, 1865, to J. W. Storrs Co. of New York, NY, as part of a 100 gun shipment. Matching assembly mark "J7" on the barrel, cylinder, and right of the grip frame as well as matching serial number on the right grip.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with much of the original finish, some wear, mainly at the high edges, some patches of oxidation, and a few marks on the grips. Mechanically functions.
