Manufactured c. 1955, without an importer mark, with the consignor stating that it could be a Vietnam War bring-back. Chamber dated "1955" and marked with a "26" factory code. Matching serial numbers on the bolt and magazine floor plate, with the buttplate numbered to another carbine. Includes a folding spike bayonet and web sling.

Very good, with some traces of the original finish with the balance thinned to a mostly gray patina with some light edge wear, a few small scattered patches of freckling, some limited spotting, and scattered light handling marks. The replacement stock is fine with numerous scattered minor compression and handling marks. Mechanically excellent.

Receiver manufactured c. 1957, with an importer mark on the right side and a boxed "0141" factory mark on the left. Matching visible partial serial numbers on the bolt carrier, dust cover, magazine floor plate, trigger housing, and re-numbered stock. Includes a folding spike bayonet, web sling, and metal cleaning kit in the butt trap. Cleaning rod absent.

Very fine as arsenal refurbished, retaining most of the finish with some faint patches of pitting under the finish on the receiver, a few small specs of spotting, and some scattered light handling marks. The stock is fine as arsenal sanded and re-varnished with a few light scrapes and compression marks. Mechanically excellent.
