Bore Condition: The bore is mostly shiny with crisp rifling and limited streaking.
Description:

Receiver manufactured in early 1943, from the first production block (serial number range 101 to 999,000) manufactured by the Inland Manufacturing Division of General Motors from May 1942 to December 1943. Inland "1-43" dated barrel, "IO" stamped in the sling channel, large "ordnance wheel" stamp on the right of the butt, and circled "P" stamp under the grip. Magazine absent.

Rating Definition:

Fine as arsenal refurbished and subsequently assembled back into World War II configuration, retaining much of the finish with scattered brown patina on the receiver, barrel, and buttplate, some light edge wear, minor cycling wear, some minor freckling, plum coloration on the barrel band, and scattered minor handling marks. The stock is very fine as re-oiled with some light compression marks, clear stamps, and attractive raised grain. Mechanically excellent.
