Description:

1) U.S. Army K-28 Tropical Flight Suit. Tagged as size "medium long", maker "P.Q.M.D.", and dated "APRIL 1960", with a senior pilot patch and "U.S. ARMY" in yellow-on-black on the left breast, Captain's bars on the right lapel, and an Air Defense Artillery insignia on the left. A name tape appears to have been removed from the right breast. Good overall, with minor stains. 2) Japanese Type 3 Tropical Aviator Uniform Jacket and Pants with Rear View Mirror. Both the jacket and pants are constructed from green twill. The jacket has Japanese markings on the interior, with carved wood buttons and an elastic hem. The pants are similarly marked, with wood buttons and a white twill lining in the waistband. Also included is a Japanese rear view mirror, with an attached note attributing the item as captured by an Allied intelligence officer in Sian, China in 1945. Good overall, with mild wear and stains. Provenance: The Putnam Green/Sycamore Collection
