Both the jacket and pants are herringbone twill, with black painted aluminum "U.S. MARINE CORPS" buttons and blackened steel snaps, "spring" pattern camouflage on the exterior and "autumn" pattern on the interiors. The pants are fitted with brass grommet reinforcement/suspension points around the waistband. The pants are stamped "R.W. GALE" in red ink on the seat of the "spring" side; no information identifying Gale was provided by the consignor. Very good, with minor tears and stains.
