Manufactured in 1918. There are Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver ring at the breech. The proof on the receiver ring appears to be a different stamp than the barrel and there is the faint outline of a previous oval proof just below it. There is also a "7" within a diamond stamped over a previous stamp just in front of the trigger. The upper left of the barrel has the two-line address/patent date, two-line nickel steel marking, and the caliber marking. The upper tang has the three-line model and trademark information, and the serial number is marked on the lower tang. The left side of the lower tang is marked "445". It is fitted with a replacement beaded blade front sight, elevation adjustable notch rear sight, and a Lyman peep sight on the upper tang. It is mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate.

Very fine, with most of the factory refinished blue, some scattered patches of light pitting/spotting on the receiver, and some mild handling wear. The factory refinished wood is fine with some scattered minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
