Factory letter states the rifle was received in the warehouse on April 30, 1902 and shipped on October 14, 1902 with round barrel in .44 caliber, plain trigger, Winchester express sights, and shotgun butt. British proofed, import marked receiver. "L9561" stamped on left side of barrel.

Good overall with original finish, pitting and spotting throughout, number of handling marks on wood. Mechanically excellent.
