Manufactured c. 1850-1860. Barrel marked "J. HENRY/& SONS" on the top flat, and with an illegible marking on the left flat at the breech. Stock stamped "US" behind the triggerguard tang.

Fair overall with a darkened patina, wear on the high edges, surface oxidation, an absent portion behind the hammer, a section of wood filler on the right side of the wrist, and some cracks. Mechanically functions.
