Description:

40 1/2" OAL, 34" etched double fuller blade with "US" etched on the left side, an American Eagle on the right, and "IRON-PROOF" on the spine. The brass hilt shows traces of silver finish, with engraved oak leaf and floral motifs, and the silver plated brass grip has sculpted bead motifs and a wire wrap. Includes a nickel finished scabbard with engraved brass suspension bands and drag.

Rating Definition:

Fine overall, with minor spotting and polishing marks on the blade, a well aged patina on the visible brass, and light handling marks overall. The etching is strong and clear, with well aged silver in the lower areas of the grip.
