One of reportedly 950 first types manufactured circa 1898-1900 in Eibar, Spain, with strong mechanical resemblances to the Mauser C96 Broomhandle. Marked "BEST SHOOTING PISTOL" on top of the barrel and with a "winged bullet" logo on the left side of the frame. Fitted with a pair of hard rubber grips.

Fair, with some traces of finish, scattered light pitting, scattered light freckling, softened markings, and mild handling wear. The grips are good with an epoxy filled repair on the left panel. The hammer does not always drop with the trigger and the safety needs work, mechanically good.
