Bore Condition: The bore is shiny with crisp rifling and some minor streaking.
Description:

Receiver manufactured in early late 1943 as a part of the only production block from International Business Machines Corporation (serial number range from 3,651,520 to 4,009,999) produced from August 1943 to May 1944. "9-43" dated I.B.M. Corp. barrel, unmarked type I barrel band, "AOB" blued flat-top bolt, replacement "PI" type III operating rod, and a "BE-B" fabricated trigger housing with "EP B" type III magazine release, unmarked push-button safety, and "U" type III hammer. Fitted with a "JL B" marked two-rivet walnut handguard and a 'high-wood' walnut stock marked "LW-B" in the stock channel and with an "ordnance wheel" stamp on the right of the butt. Includes a web sling and metal oiler. Magazine is absent.

Rating Definition:

Fine, retaining much of the original parkerized and blue finishes with light edge wear, light cycling wear, scattered minor patches of brown patina/spotting, and light handling marks. The stock is also fine as sanded and re-oiled with numerous scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
