One of reportedly 14,000 Type 99 Arisaka pattern rifles manufactured by the Imperial Japanese Yokosuka Naval Arsenal circa 1945, which featured cast iron constructed receivers instead of steel. Good, with some traces of the original finish in protected areas along with scattered light spotting and smooth brown patina on the balance, some thinning on top of the receiver, dried varnish, light cycling wear, and mild handling wear. The stock is very good as sanded and varnished with numerous scattered light handling marks and dents. Mechanically functions.
