Bore Condition: The bore is dark and has oxidation/pitting.
Description:

The barrel is signed "Dickert [emblem] Gill" on top, likely for Jacob Dickert Gill (b. 1788), grandson of well-known Lancaster County gunmaker Jacob Dickert (1740-1822). Red painted "W. H." on the right side of the butt in fancy script.

Rating Definition:

Good as assembled from mixed parts including a "stretched" antique barrel with a blend of dark brown "antiqued" finish and patina on the barrel and lock, oxidation, aged patina on the brass mounts, splices in the stock, and mild overall wear. Mechanically functions (full-cock only).
