Measures about 3 1/2" tall and 6 1/2" long, with a 4" long curved axe blade, hammer face on the rear, and a "broad arrow" acceptance proof on the right side. Consignor statements attribute the item as 18th century production.

Fair in "as found" condition, with dark patina and mild pitting overall. The hammer head shows chipping, exposing underlying material.
