Manufactured c. 1893-1925, and issued as the official Imperial Japanese non-commissioned officer's service revolver until 1904. Matching visible serial number on the trigger, with a non-matching numbered cylinder. Fitted with a pair of checkered hardwood grips. Includes a brown leather 'clamshell' holster.

Very good, retaining some of the original finish with some mild edge wear, a cylinder drag line, thinning on the balance with mostly brown patina, scattered minor patches of spotting, and minor handling marks. The loose grips are also very good with some mild compression wear in the otherwise defined checkering. Mechanically fine. The holster is fine with some paint splatter on the lid.
