Manufactured c. 1940, with an importer mark on the barrel, and a "1940" date on top of the chamber along with two Finnish boxed "S.A." property markings on the left side. matching serial number on the bolt with a non-arsenal turned handle. Mounted with a PU pattern thumb screw bracket, mounted, and "1944" dated PU pattern scope (serial number "153808") Fitted with a birch handguard and a Finnish "spliced tongue" birch stock. Includes a web scope cover and pair of leather lens caps.

Fine as arsenal refurbished and importer reconfigured, retaining some of the finish with some mild edge wear, scattered light thinning and freckling, some minor pitting, dried grease, and light handling marks. the stock is also fine as sanded and re-oiled with several scattered light compression marks and small scuffs. Mechanically functions. The scope is very fine with partially hazed optics.
