Frame manufactured in 1919, later outfitted with a Service Ace style Colt conversion unit. Blade and adjustable notch sights, with an "S12" marked frame, 1911A1 style components, long alloy trigger with adjustable stop, frontstrap serrated and covered with a checkered metal panel, and a set of ivory grip panels with dragon-themed carving. Includes an Idaho Leather 76/5 leather and canvas holster. Original 45 ACP components absent.

Very good as refinished, with mild wear and handling marks. The model and U.S. property markings have been defaced. Grips are very good, with attractive grain, fine color and sharp carving, with the right panel warping slightly at the bottom. The floating chamber is jammed in a partially retracted position and the slide catch needs adjustment, otherwise mechanically functions. Holster is very good with minor staining.
