Receiver manufactured in Italy c. 1954-1955 under contract for the Danish government, with the Danish "crown/FKF" property marking on the receiver heel, a World War II era U.S. Springfield Armory pattern wide base gas cylinder, "B.SID.641955" marked barrel, "2234" numbered "BMB" bolt, relief cut "9 SA" curved-side operating rod, "BMB" follower and follower arm, along with a "BMB" trigger housing with "BMB" hammer and safety. Fitted with a pair of walnut handguards and a walnut stock with an open box "S.A." (U.S. Springfield Armory) rebuild stamp on the left of the butt and a circled serif "P" firing proof on the grip.

Fine as arsenal refurbished, retaining much of the finish with scattered mild edge wear, light cycling wear, light spotting and mild handling wear on the buttplate, silvering on the bands, scattered spots of brown patina, some minor spotting on the trigger housing, and scattered mild handling wear. The stock is very good as sanded and re-oiled with numerous scattered light dents and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
