Receiver manufactured in 1918. Johnson Automatic "JA" marked arsenal replacement barrel, "eagle head" proofed receiver, "NS" and "W" marked bolt, and "E" marked upper band. Fitted with a single shot adapter fixed to the magazine follower and an "eagle head" proofed and "3Y" marked walnut stock set. Includes a M1 pattern web sling. Provenance: The Billy Pyle Collection

Very fine as arsenal refurbished, retaining most of the finish with some light handling marks under the finish, some minor edge wear, minor cycling wear, some scattered minor patches of brown patina/freckling, and some scattered light handling marks. The replacement stock is also very fine with some scattered minor compression marks. Mechanically excellent.
