Reintroduced 2020, this revolver received near full coverage masterfully executed deeply carved foliate scroll and snake scale pattern engraving. From muzzle to butt this revolver exudes excellence with incredible attention paid to the details of the engraving which shows stunning depth intermixed with the scrollwork creating a striking contrast and a truly amazing depth going beyond what is expected, even on this high grade revolver. This pattern was designed and executed by American Master Engraver Merlin Enright of Altamont Co., who is also the mastermind behind other such great works of relief engraving including the Talo Distributors Iwo Jima one of 300 commemorative Colt 1911, the Smith & Wesson 629-6 "Rising Eagle", and the Browning Citori 725 Exhibition Grade. The revolver is fitted with an orange ramp front sight, adjustable rear sight, and a set of dark laminate Altamont grips with python motifs. Included is the original factory Colt case, the original factory grips, and a coin engraved with matching serial number.
