Produced from the late 1850s to early 1860s. This second model, fifth type navy revolver has been converted to .38 rimfire. Numbers matching on the frame, barrel and loading lever. The trigger guard is numbered "25070", the cylinder face is marked "P/GG" and the frame has been marked "PM" opposite the serial number under the trigger guard.

Very fine overall as refinished with a bright polished metal, strong nickel on the trigger guard, light pitting, and minor wear. Mechanically functions.
