Description:

The blade is stamped "US/NWP" on the obverse ricasso and "N.P.AMES/CABOTVILLE/1846" on the reverse. With scabbard. The ordnance inspection marks "WAT" and "NWP" are stamped on the top of the pommel. The regulation iron scabbard is stamped "A/D/K" on the drag.

Rating Definition:

Very good overall. The blade is bright. The hilt has an attractive patina. The scabbard has an attractive, deep brown patina.
