Manufactured c. the 1850s-1870s. The left side of breech marked "Sme LEFAUCHEUX", top of breech marked "PROBIRT/R" and right side of breech marked "H. RIFFELMANN/SOLINGEN". "12" assembly number marked on the loading gate. Frame, cylinder, and breech are attractively floral scroll engraved.

Good overall with smooth gray patina, minor pitting, handling marks, crisp engraving, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically needs work, trigger not resetting properly.
