Moldenhauer Collection of Remington Arms" and is listed as the original patent model for U.S. Patent No. 141384, which was granted on July 29, 1873. The patent was awarded to Joseph Rider for an improvement on the Rolling Block action to prevent accidental discharges. The left side of the tang marked "KM668".

Fine overall with minor wear and oxidation. Mechanically excellent.
