Manufactured c.1900. Blade front and 1000-meter tangent rear sights, with the three line Mauser marking on the top of the chamber area, ring hammer, flat-side frame and ribbed grips.

Fair, original blue finish concentrated in the protected areas and a mixed brown and gray patina overall, pitting (heaviest on the grip frame and the right side of the frame), and scattered spotting and dings. Grips are fair, with scuffs, dents and oxidization around the screw. The bolt is a bit stiff, otherwise mechanically functions.
