Manufactured in 1929, with the right side of the frame Showa dated "4.9" (September 1929). Fitted with a pair of ribbed hardwood grips with matching "517" partial serial numbers on the undersides and a non-matching numbered nickel plated magazine. Includes a dark leather 'clamshell' holster, suspending strap, cleaning rod, and an extra non-matching numbered nickel plated magazine.

Very good, retaining some of the original finishes with some light edge wear, scattered minor pitting on the grip straps and barrel, thinning on the balance with smooth grey and brown patinas, scattered light patches of spotting/freckling, and light handling marks. The grips are fine with some light handling marks and defined ribbing. Mechanically excellent. The holster is very fine.
