Manufactured in 1955. Importer mark on the right side of the barrel. Still covered in factory preservative grease and wax wrapping paper, with a June 1955 dated label marked "(SHORT BUTT)" over the buttplate. Includes a "54" dated No. 9 Mk I Bowie pattern bayonet and metal sheath, both coated in factory preservative grease and wax wrapping paper, along with a cardboard shipping box.

Excellent overall as "mummy wrapped" in factory wax paper, retaining nearly all of the finish with scattered factory preservative grease and flaking wrapping paper. Mechanically untested.
