Bore Condition: The bore is mostly darkened with visible rifling and pitting.
Description:

Spuriously marked "U.S. NAVY" on the top of the frame and "USN" on the backstrap near the butt. Right side of the frame "RIA" rework marked. Included factory letter confirms the caliber, barrel length, stocks, states the finish was blue, and that it was shipped to the United States Government Port Supply Officer Ordnance Depot Bush Terminal in Brooklyn, New York on October 22, 1918 as a part of a 3,000 gun shipment.
