Bore Condition: The bore is shiny with very strong rifling and mild streaking.
Description:

Receiver manufactured in 1944, as a part of the second production block from Winchester Repeating Arms Co. (serial number range 5,549,922 to 5,834,618) produced from December 1943 to November 1944, with Inland's serial production running into this range as well. "W" marked and "WP" proofed Winchester barrel, "AMCO" marked type III barrel band, "PI" milled adjustable peep rear sight, "PI" and "H" marked type IV operating rod, "UN" blued flat-top bolt, along with a "W" marked milled trigger housing with "W.I." type IV magazine catch, a rotary safety, and "IN" type III hammer. Fitted with an "IO" marked four-rivet walnut handguard, a "SA" marked replacement "pot belly" profile birch stock, and an "OI B" blued magazine. Includes a web sling and metal oiler. Note: This item features a high-capacity magazine which has a capacity above 10 rounds and cannot be sold or transferred to residents in states where long gun magazine capacity is limited to no more than 10 rounds. Please check your local laws and regulations prior to bidding.

Rating Definition:

Fine as arsenal refurbished, retaining much of the finishes with a loose front sight, some light edge wear, some scattered light patches of spotting/oxidation, softened receiver markings, light cycling wear, and light handling marks. The stock is also fine with scattered light handling marks and scuffs along with a crack in the handguard. Mechanically functions.
