1956 production receiver, "SA" marked and "3 56" dated barrel with bright chamber ring, post-war "SA/Y01" marked bolt, post-war "SA" operating rod, and a post-war "SA" trigger housing with "SA" hammer and "SA-11" safety. Fitted with a set of walnut handguards and a walnut stock with "DoD eagle" acceptance stamp on the left of the wrist, circled "P" firing proof on the grip, and "51" painted in a rectangle on the right of the buttstock. Includes a matching Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) certificate of authenticity dated November 3, 1998.

Very fine, retaining most of the original finish with some minor edge wear, minor cycling wear, dried grease, and minor handling marks. The stock is fine as sanded and re-oiled with scattered compression marks, and painted number on the right. Mechanically excellent.
