The included factory letter lists this as a military model built for the government but release for private sale to William Hoegee Company of Los Angeles, CA, on June 28, 1918. Sights have been modified to a target type configuration. Matching serial numbers on the barrel, cylinder, and butt. Includes a Brauer Bros. flap holster.

Fine as refinished, with some patches of spotting, minor areas of pitting, a cylinder drag line, mottled brown on the sideplate, and mostly crisp checkering on the grips. Mechanically excellent.
