Bore Condition: The bore is bright with crisp rifling.
Description:

Included factory letter states that the mid-night black finish was sold in limited quantities to private firms for security use. The letter states that this revolver was apart of the United States Defense Supply Commission contract, it also confirms the configuration (barrel length, finish, grips, and caliber), and was shipped to United Illuminating Co. in Bridgeport, CT. on April 16th, 1943. The barrel, back of the cylinder and the grips (no v prefix) are numbered to the frame.

Rating Definition:

Very fine overall with original finish, minor wear and dings on top of the left grip. Mechanically excellent.
