Factory letter states the revolver was shipped on November 16, 1900 to Simmons Hardware Co. of St. Louis, Missouri, with a 4 1/2 inch barrel in .38 caliber, blue finish, and type of stocks not listed. Revolver subsequently re-chambered in .22 caliber. Provenance: The Charles Marx Collection

Very good as refinished with mixed patina on the balance, modified front sight, some pitting, replacement grips with attractive fiery colors. Mechanically excellent.
