Bore Condition: The bore is partially darkened with pitting and softened rifling.
Description:

Manufactured in 1916. An included sale tag attributes this pistol as having been owned by Estes T. Swindle who served in the United States Military during World War II as a part of the famous First American Volunteer Group, better known as the Flying Tigers. The Flying Tigers aided the Republic of China in repelling Japan's invasion. He later became a captain with the 70th Fighter Squadron, 18th Fighter Group. On October 10, 1944 Captain Swindle was killed when his C-46 collided midair with another C-46.

Rating Definition:

Very good as restored with some light wear, and light pitting. Grips are good. Mechanically excellent.
