Bore Condition: The bore is darkened with pitting and softened rifling.
Description:

Manufactured in the mid-19th century. Top barrel flat marked "HYDE & GOODRICH N.O." Originally established in 1817, Hyde & Goodrich were merchants of silver and military goods, with a particular emphasis on fine wares imported from Europe. Many of their wares were used by the Confederacy. The partnership ended c.1861.

Rating Definition:

Fair with an overall darkened patina, wear, pitting, and surface oxidation. Grips are good with softened checkering. Mechanically functions.
