Fitted with a set of walnut handguards and a walnut stock with faint boxed "S.A./J.L.G." (U.S. Springfield Armory, Col. James L. Guion) and "ordnance wheel" stamps on the left of the wrist and a circled serif "P" firing proof on the grip. Includes a matching Civilian Marksmanship Program certificate of authenticity dated December 14, 2000, a letter from noted M1C expert Dave McClain verifying the rifle by serial number as being an authentic M1C, and green M1 pattern web sling.

Rating Definition:

Fine overall as arsenal refurbished, retains much of the finish with mild cycling wear, some minor patches of brown patina, and some light handling marks and scratches in the stock. Mechanically excellent.
