Bore Condition: The bore is partially frosted with pitting and distinct rifling.
Description:

Manufactured in 1852, visible serial numbers match. The back strap has a spurious inscription: "To Genl Patton Anderson/From His Friends C.S.A." along with the initials "P.A." at the top. With a modern glass topped display case containing lead balls, a Manhattan Firearms bullet mold, and Eley Brother cap tin.

Rating Definition:

Good overall with an attractive smooth gray patina, grip straps retaining much of the age darkened original silver plating, and grip with a few small chips. Mechanically functions.
