This matching pair of 18 century flintlock pistols feature 14 inch 64 bore barrels marked with a large crown, "HARTFORD" and four proofmarks at the breech end. The lock is marked "PICKFATT" ahead of he hammer. Brass mounted with lightly engraved left side plate and thumb oval, and relief mans face on the buttcap. Mounted with a full smooth walnut stock with a wooden ramrod with a swelled head and flat brass tip.
Very good. The metal surfaces have been cleaned many years ago and remain bright. The brass has an aged patina. The stock is also very good with a minor crack at the barrel tang extending about an inch back and overall minor dents and dings. The markings are clear. The action is fine.
