Fixed sights, with the standard maker's markings on the left side of the slide, with "crown/N" proofs on the slide, chamber and muzzle, and matching numbers on the right side of the frame and inside the slide. In addition, the right side of the slide ahead of the ejection port is engraved "EHRENPREIS ZUM/ REICHSPISTOLENSCHLESSEN/ 1939" (Honor Prize for/ Reich Pistol Competition/ 1939). Equipped with the dished slide, 60 degree safety, serrated ring hammer, smooth trigger and one piece wraparound Walther grips, with a Nazi eagle badge inlaid into the right side.

Very fine, with 95% of the faded original blue finish, showing bright edge wear, the start of a brown patina on the front strap and slide, and scattered light handling marks. Grips are fine, with some light scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
