Description:

1) "43aswz" marked, grooved grips, numbered to sheath with frog. 2) Corts, sheath with frog. 3) "44aswz" marking, grooved grips, bright blade, mismatched sheath with frog. 4) Mundlos, numbered to sheath, "cgn / 43" marked frog. 5) "cof / 44" marked, grooved grips, numbered to sheath with frog. 6) Unmarked, sheath with frog. The lot also includes, 7) "S/155K" marked model 1884/98 blued bayonet with eagle/62 proofs, scabbard numbered to bayonet, leather frog, smooth grips. 8) Heller model 1884/98 blued bayonet with "3./K 6..108." marked on guard and scabbard, smooth grips. 9) Erffurt model 1884/98 bright bayonet with scabbard, J. Bomberg leather frog with "BAX" marking, smooth grips.

Rating Definition:

1) Very fine, 75% blue remaining, some scattered mild pitting. Sheath has scattered traces of blue, some minor dings. 2) Very fine, 80% blue remaining, some light spotting on handle. Sheath retains 95% blue, some light spotting. 3) Very good, some mild pitting with heavier pitting on handle. Sheath has a smooth blue-gray appearance. 4) Very good, over 80% blue remaining, some scattered minor pitting, some mild spotting on handle. Sheath has a dark brown patina with some mild spotting. 5) Very fine, 95% blue remaining, some minor pitting on guard, a series of minor dings on handle. Sheath has a smooth dark patina. 6) Very fine, 90% plus blue remaining, some light spotting on handle. Sheath has a brown patina, some minor pitting. 7) Very fine, retains 95% thinning original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray. Grips have some minor dings and scratches. Scabbard retains 90% thinning blue. 8) Fine, retains 70% original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. Grips have some minor dings and scratches. Scabbard retains 50% of the blue with a few minor dents. 9) Very fine, some minor pitting and scratches. Scabbard retains 75% thinning blue.
