Designed by Austrian Friederich Pfannl and chambered for the very small 2.7mm Kolibri centerfire cartridge, these pistols was intended as novelty items. Produced without sights, with "PFANNL'S AUTOMAT PISTOL" marked on the right side of the frame, "crown/ N" on the barrel and slide, "FEU" and "SUR" safety markings, niter blue trigger numbered "13" and checkered grips with "FP" in an oval at the tops and "KOLIBRI" in a banner on the right panel. With a brass reinforced hardwood case with green felt lining, a small metal box holding 2 live 2.7 Kolibri cartridges, one spent casing, one dummy round, and excerpts from magazine articles and other sources.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 97% of the original blue finish. A small pin is absent from the rear of the frame, with scattered patches of gray patina. The niter blue is fading near the bottom of the trigger, strong and bright near the frame. Grips are excellent, with light handling marks. Case is excellent, with minor pressure dents. Mechanically needs adjustment.
