Scaled down version of the Swedish Ljungman with the left side of the receiver marked "RASHEED 7.62 MADE IN U.A.R." with "5819" in electric pencil. Remaining markings are in Farsi. Folding bayonet, blade and tangent sights, and importer marking on barrel. This is a relatively scarce rifle that was unavailable outside of Egypt until a small quantity was imported in the early 1980s.
Excellent. The rifle retains 97% original blue finish with some minor thinning on the barrel and some minor edge wear. The wood is fine with some chipping near the buttplate, a few minor dents and gouges, and some minor dings and scratches (more prevalent on the buttstock).
Sights have "AG1 / GF56" marked sight attachments, receiver marked with a "crown/C" proof with the date 1943 on the left side and "SS" on the right side, built-in muzzle compensator, and full length military stock with brass buttstock disc. The number "90367" is marked in electric pencil on the bolt. Complete with bayonet, scabbard with frog, and bore cleaning kit.
Excellent. The rifle retains 98% original matte black finish with some minor handling marks. The wood is excellent with a few minor gouges and some minor dings and pressure marks.
