Manufactured in 1981, this is a limited addition of 1,500 Diamond Anniversary Model 4 rifles. The receiver is engraved with floral scroll designs, gold bear and hunters in a canoe with gold scroll border on the left side and gold Model 4 and Model 8 rifles on the right side, each identified in a banner. The left rear of the barrel is marked "CUSTOM BUILT BY REMINGTON ARMS CO. / ILION, NEW YORK". Raised ramp blade front and notch rear sights, with the top of the receiver drilled and tapped for scope mounting, and mounted with a checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with a contrasting wood grip cap and Remington recoil pad. Complete with Remington box and shipping box.
