Produced without sights, with the screw on bronze barrel decorated with a pair of raised relief chiseled grotesque heads at the muzzle. No makers marks are visible, with a scene of a bird in a field on the left side of the frame, fish head hammer and scroll and floral work on the frame and barrel. Smooth bag shaped grip, with a relief engraved head on the brass buttplate, silver wire scroll inlay, silver inscription plate and accents. Possibly made for the Oriental trade.
Fine, with the start of a fine aged patina on the barrel and traces of silver in the protected areas. Bright frame, with some mild spotting and handling marks. Grip is good, with a few small cracks. Mechanically good.
