Produced in 1941 and subsequently refurbished. Fixed sights, with the two line, two block address/patent marking with the Rampant Colt in the center on the left side of the slide, "P" on top and a matching serial number under the firing pin block. The frame is marked with a boxed "RS" inspection stamp, "X/ VP" on the trigger guard, and "No" style serial number. Fitted with a checkered wide hammer, milled short trigger, checkered slide stop and thumb safety, long grip safety, arched checkered mainspring housing and early style Colt wood grips. Barrel is Colt production.
